Yeah, interestingly, MLP:FiM has other ties to video game cartoons. Tara Strong voiced Iggy/Hop Koopa in the Adventures of Super Mario 3 & Mario World cartoons. Rarity’s voice Tabitha voiced Wendy/Kootie Pie Koopa from those shows, as well as Spryte from the Zelda cartoon, and did some misc characters in Sonic. Not to mention DHX owns DiC’s shows now.
Ian James Corlett voices monkey badnik Coconuts in Sonic, Dr. Wiley in “Captain N,” and Megaman in the Ruby Spears MM cartoon. He was pony Silver Shill, and the IRL Dad of Clair “Sweetie Belle” Corlett.
