Absolutely what @Napsack said. Talking from experience here, weirder stuff like this get a lot more downvotes when it’s on the front page still, because that’s when everyone is seeing it. Once it’s been pushed off the front page the people who watch or search for your art tag or stuff like “elastic” will find it and upvote it. Also talking from experience here, when people actually don’t LIKE the art you hear about it in the comments; just a surplus of downvotes means it too weird for some people XD

I’m going to guess they either assumed it was a weird fetish, or they saw the lack of character tags and assumed it was a mistagged barely-pony oc. You can get a lot of hate for that.
