Yeah I recall that scene. I think they were just having a loud party. I don’t think even she’d be so obscene as to do anything lewd in a room with no door. Sure there’s the “Whose next” line, but then you have lines like “ me another” and “And then he-”. I could very well be wrong, but sounds like drunken rambling and silliness that just sounds like “you know what” when out of context.
So what’s the exact relationship of the parents here? Are they even married? Is the father the rich one and is off on business alot? Or is the mom rich (yeah it’s scary to think of) and he just doesn’t stick around for some reason? Honestly with a name like “Pillow Talk” I assume she’s a gold digger.
i have to say pillow talk seems to be… very young. not physically i mean mentally, emotionally. her speech is just so… juvenile? its hard to place but she seems to be speaking with a sort of casual blasé-ness. theres another image of her calling someone a rather childish name as well.
self indulgent, lazy, extremely casual. shes acting like shes 15 years old still and i guess that makes sense for someone whos emotionally stunted…
im not sure what i think about her at this time actually. is she an alcoholic? shes not drunk, she isnt slurring any of her words, shes not dropping anything and doesnt look drunk either. she seems to be coherent but something just feels off about her…

all of it, even the setup for it shes just not in the same reality as everyone else.
she responds to glitter before they finish talking by dramatically grabbing them and calling them babe, but when glitter responds with distress they dont even notice them trying to push them directly in the face as well as missing the exclamation they made as well.
its like they are playing…
thats it i think, pillow talk is just playing her own game all the time, her own little reality where nothings important except her fun and the most basic obligations are secondary to her own needs.
i wonder if thats what it is…
another great comic page btw. i love how you write pillow talks speech it makes everything she says feel playful and casual at the same time, i imagine a mix of pinkie pie and rarity in how she looks and acts.
