In the past 30 years, that’s a very tiny amount. Though, unofficial adult games existed on Atari and such before the ESRB was made. They still had adults only warnings on them though.
Super Ponio Bros rated E for EVERYONE
Call of Pony is rated T for TEENS
Grand Theft Pony is rated M for MATURE
I don’t know which adult game is rated A° for ADULTS ONLY
@Yet One More Idiot
sorry for necro but, BBFCs system is hillarious, They put like 12+ tags on porn
BBFC either use 18 for hardcore porn, or it’s R-18 or unrated. An exact dictionary definition or what is or is not porn does not exist, it’s kinda vague where the boundaries are…they might consider something not porn, but you watch it and feel it is. *le shrug* :)
For games, we use the PEGI ratings here in the UK, istered by the Video Standards Council. Used to be part of the remit of the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification), but was separated out a few years ago.
I’d like to see something for the BBFC ratings though - Uc, U, PG, 12, 12A, 15, 18, and R18. xD
@Background Pony #CE79
So is E-10. I back in 2005 the ESRB had to make that new rating, because too many “semi-kid-friendly” games like “The Incredibles” & SSB were getting “T” ratings.
@HDPlayer
I never liked taking that too literally, ‘cause then means kids under 10 or 13 can’t play SSB, and such. It should depend on what kinda content won’t bother the child, or what their parent finds appropriate.
In fact, my parents (despite being quite conservative) actually pretty much let me & my older sister watch or play whatever we want, as long as it wasn’t too graphic, and if they were with us.
As kids we kinda avoided movies that were too graphic anyways, as we weren’t too into those, but a few like Terminator 2 we enjoyed.
it’s actually questionable.
they dropped and retired early childhood. in 2018 because it’s underused.

your current filter.When I first click on the [+] icon in the middle right and suddenly it got marked as [This action is turned off for content made for kids] with 18 www.pegi.info shaded in red and @Nintendo UK shouldn’t mark that Bayonetta launch trailer for kids like that
Apparently, there are only 27 ESRB AO-rated games in North America.

Doesn’t ESRB M rating only matches Grimdark And Grotesque spoiler image?

The ESRB rating “Kid to Adult” was replaced by “E for Everyone.” So they’re basically the same thing.
And K-A kids to adult (back in the Retro days)
Yeah but its funny when they apply 12 tags to movies with sex scenes with visible titties lmao

That does sound simpler.
your age just has to be equal or larger to the number shown so that you can watch/play whatever it was printed on
