This reminds me of a on a Brony forum I used to go to bragging about how smart he was when Twilicorn sounded like a one time thing, because he “knew” she wasn’t becoming a princess. He even said “I can’t help, but feel so much smarter than everyone else right now.” I wish I wasn’t IP banned from that site, or I’d try and find that post. It’s one of the most hilarious in hindsight posts I’ve ever seen in my life. His ego and insistence that he was smart and we were stupid became hilarious in a manner of days.

I’m always kind of amazed at the mental gymnastics people go through to convince themselves that nobody has the right to just not like something, and one of the worst is the idea that everybody’s retracted all of their complaints if they don’t keep re-announcing them everyday for the rest of eternity.
