It’s a roguelike, essentially a turn-by-turn exploration-based RPG where you live hard and die fast (and permanently; each time you die you start all the way over) unless you can wise up and learn to be tricky with your items.
It’s actually a lot of fun, even though I’ve just now gotten into it. You can get it for any major OS, and it’s free, so saying you can’t pay for a game like that is a bit of a non-issue. Oh, and personally, I think the ASCII art is just there to make things more difficult, so for those that it, try to have a tileset to play with. I think the vanilla game already comes with one, but I’m not sure…
Spitfire and I become Pokemon Masters. The Wonderbolts Academy later closes due to the continuous failed attendance of one of its core faculty . I have enough trouble getting her to stop playing long enough to eat and bathe, let alone sleep or do anything productive.
hmm i have a feeling those poor people/ponies are screwed … more so from me as i tend to be a war mongering asshole who makes everyone his enemy … i’ll most likely go full evil and use applebloom as a scapegoat … muahahaha !
