Well, if you meant me too, speaking about hatred for the finale, then personally about myself I will say that I do not hate the season/finale. It’s just bad, that’s all.
From a nostalgic point of view, the last episode is good. This is a pleasant, albeit sad, replacement for the unfulfilled tenth season. (Since initially, apparently, it was planned that the villains would be reformed in the tenth season. How - they did not say, but it was mentioned that another season was planned, not just a season in the form of comics)
But in fact - the last two-series was rushed for the sake of completion, and the solution turned out, although satisfactory, but, in my opinion, bad. A solution about villains who didn’t have enough time to reveal their identity.
So yeah, I don’t hate the ending if you meant me too. I just think it’s pretty bad compared to what we could get, albeit quite nostalgic.

This is why I am writing a story where a faction of Alicorns goes out of their way to free Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow; along with making themselves enemies of Equestria in the process. However due to a confluence of events, these Alicorns are all well tied into the magic of the land or are paragons of the community that by removing one of them by force would prove disastrous to the rest of Equestria: a literal “I cannot kill you, I need you.” type of situation. Even more terrifying, these Alicorns aren’t just right and justified about everything they are doing, they are fighting against an even greater enemy than what Equestria had ever known, one that had wormed its way into Equestria to affect everyone without The Royal Sisters ever realizing it… oh, and that Cozy Glow is the Alicorns leader, the one that The CMC met outisde of their clubhouse, the very same one that was turned into stone; that was actually the real Cozy Glow’s pet that merely took the guise of her master to protect Equestria in Cozy’s temporary absence.
Discord saying he doesn’t turn ponies to stone was arguably hypocritical from the get-go, in that it was based on statues, just like dead ponies, being not fun/chaotic, not actual morals. He was pissed over it happening to him, not others, and he didn’t seem bitter anymore that it happened in The Summer Sun Setback, the way he jovially mentioned it.
…Fluttershy should’ve been forced to it in Daring Doubt that her approach doesn’t always work, even if it sometimes does, because the latter part with Ahuizotl involved an outright retcon (Daring Done? being a mentioned example of him doing things in places where he didn’t apparently guard) so she’d look the best.
Rainbow Dash: Daring Do thwarts Ahuizotl’s evil plot to separate the Sister Crown Relics. And if it wasn’t for her, the region would be cursed with eternal night, and the entire town of Somnambula would have sunk into the ground!
(Regarding “retcon”)
It would’ve felt more congruent, really, if the lesson was instead “sometimes kindness pays off, sometimes not.”
…it’s kind of the same problem “Bats!” had really, going along with her self-righteousness without question, because they gave Fluttershy the most flattering portrayal too much.

I know, freedom of speech but still, it is annoying to see people hate, I totally respect your opinion on hating the finale, but please don’t be rude about it…
People really need to stop being babies, the finale was good. if you don’t like it, just don’t talk about it and leave other people that liked it alone. :/
I have always hated Discord because I hate tricksters. I am more tolerant of actual villains who do evil things for profit than d-bags who do things ‘for fun’ with no concern for the consequences.
The mean 3 had it coming, he also meant well and risked his life to help the mane 5 and spike get free so they could save equestria.
