@PrincessFutamoon
well the animation was great it was awful to include crappy voice acting, use of main and side characters instead of oc and have the balls to make rd unlikeabl
@rylasasin
Wait, so you are playing “it was made by fans” card while the producers themselves claimed to be of Show episode quality? Even ignoring that, that doesn’t excuse bad quality, for we can’t be setting different metrics for everything just to make sure it doesn’t look that bad once you use it.
It wasn’t up to par with the show, the writing was really bad, the animation was kind of all over the place in of quality, and it is something I wouldn’t suggest anyone to watch. You like it? Good, still doesn’t stop my previous statement from existing and being true.
@Background Pony
That is why you typically don’t see internet reviewers reviewing fan stuff, and why people like Linkara outright refuse to review free fan comics, even the horrible ones like sonicchu.
What kind of logic is that? Just because something couldn’t have been made doesn’t exempt it from criticism. If I find something to be bad I’m going to call it bad. I’m not going to sit there and think “Oh well they didn’t have to make this so obviously I should be grateful and say it’s good.”
The recent Transformers movies didn’t have to of been made. Should we be grateful that they were and not complain about them?
Despite the serious problems with the pacing and fan pandering, it’s still very good for an internet cartoon. Have you guys never watched Mondomedia cartoons? That’s the definition of God fucking awful.
@Justy
Riiight, because you know what I’m thinking better than I do. Also comparing something a group put a lot of effort in making to “a bowl of shit” is incredibly disrespectful and immature.
Constructive criticism is fine, but there is a limit before it becomes discouraging. If we want to see more of these animations we really should consider less harsh criticism and more encouragement.
I loved the animation and a few of the visual gags, but…
The thing was just so awkwardly paced. Some parts were too fast, and some parts just dragged on and on and on (like the scene with Derpy. There was absolutely no need for it to go on so long).
I think it would’ve been a lot better if they’d left out the pointless crossover bs and stuck with Dash busting up town with the Rainbooms while the others try to stop her. It eschews plot for blatant cameos as if saying, “HEY LOOK, IT’S YOUR FAVORITE CARTOON NETWORK CHARACTERS!”
It feels like a Bleedman comic. And it really pains me to say that.
That being said, it’s not bad, but it’s certainly nothing spectacular.
I just saw the episode and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread (not that my opinion matters).
Then I look here and pretty much allll I see is bitching: “It’s not true enough to be an episode, the timing/writing/whatever-the-fuck killed it, the voice acting sucked, blah blah bitchy-blah”.
For fuck’s sake! Be grateful for what you got because you weren’t entitled to jack-shit to begin with!

Happy Tree Friends and Dick Figures are an exception (most the time). The other shows they have are just so freaking bad.

The difference is that people paid money to see the transformers movie and it was created to make money.
This was a fan-made creation made purely for the enjoyment of the fanbase.
No comparison.

The article is not a review.
Being aggressive to people that disagree with you is not being encouraging.

“Eat your bowl of shit! We gave it to you for free!”
Your logic.
Also, the word “hater” makes me want to punch babies at this point.
Whatever man.
i never asked for it and i sure the heck don’t want it
i’ll say whatever i darn well please

oh, gee, what a shock! never would expected that.
