The wingtips of the pegasus models are IK bones, which means they can be moved quite some distance away from their body. This view from the top shows how there is an asymmetrical amount of these IK bones in the wings. How lazy…
Hah, you must not use MMD much 409. I’m used to models having a handful of flaws and random issues. Heck, a large number of models I’ve seen are either edits of existing models, game rips or 3D Custom Girls.
One thing I would like to see is someone do a CFD aerodynamics study on pegasi.
Considering they supposedly use pegasus magic to fly (much as earth pony magic apparently deals with their natural capacity for agriculture), I doubt there’s anything really scientific about it.
Only the pegasus models appear to be irredeemably bad, the unicorn ones are perfectly usable despite their issues, and the earth pony ones are similar to the unicorn ones but have less issues due to the lack of extra bits.
