Hate it all you want, but there’s power in anonymity. Some of the smartest debates and discussions I’ve had on 4chan would be for instant bans in a large majority of -name message boards.

The MLP:FIM fandom got its start on 4chan/co/ three years ago. Every part of it since then can be traced back to that origin.
Hell, as far as I’m concerned, they’re one of the main driving of the internet.
