Oh, I agree. The idea is good. But even the original version is more believable than the latest season finale; that’s what I was trying to say there.

Actually, I can kind of see that chapter being re-written in a more plausible fashion. Dainn has a part of Discord’s magic, which is definitely strong enough to hold against any individual alicorn, but of course not against the six elements banded together. However, three of the bearers were captured, leaving only Cel, Luna, and Twilight to defend Equestria, who can effectively do just that by themselves depending on the opponent.
While Luna was asleep and Twilight was trying to remain hidden in order to better study the enemy, Cel faces Dainn and I’d like to have assumed only having a portion of Discord’s magic wouldn’t be enough to completely overpower Her. Instead, he would simply defend against Her attacks in order to stall before Cadance and Shining make their arrival.
Which I’d more expect, considering the caribou mindset in more recent commissions: For generations, male caribou haven’t thought females to have the ability to take care of themselves, and so, they want to protect and care for them. Under this mindset, Dainn would not attack, only defend, because he’d think of Cel as weak, simply because of Her gender.
Dainn, using Discord’s magic, successfully defends against Celestia’s onslaught, before Cadance and Shining appear and use the Corrupt Crystal Heart on Canterlot. At this point, I’d better imagine Cel being momentarily stunned by the magic burst, and then immediately afterwards, Dainn knocks it out, puts it in a binding device, and waits for it to regain consciousness before severing its horn. And then, they hold the parade.
In this fashion, Cel’s near victory would be more surprising than simply having Her lose all throughout. Celestia’s defeat was really always assured, assuming she couldn’t stop Cadance and Shining. A more believable Dainn would not have the necessary strength, even with a magicked buff, to overpower Cel until his allies were able to counter with the Corrupt Crystal Heart.

That’s probably true. Unfortunately, some fans these days seem to imagine that Celestia couldn’t defend Equestria from a colony of ants since the last few season finales. :L

On a slightly less condescending note, @Background Pony #BDD2 Never, EVER try to combine a storyline with porn. No one in the history of ever has been able to do that and get a good result. It gets even messier when fetishes get involved.

The logic behind this is one big train wreck. Sure, you can write plenty of smut porn about it, but trying to written an actually story is just going to give you a big headache.
