Has he actually stopped being a whiny faust purist, or has he just entirely unpersoned the show? Because I’m pretty sure it’s the latter, considering one of the last things he ever said about it that I’m aware of was “I wish I had never even heard of [the show]”, which really isn’t getting “better” so much as it is not getting worse.
Wait… oh wow, I saw this when it was posted four months ago, and have seen it a couple of times since. But only now do I realise something is wrong with this.

I went back a few pages on the source blog. He’s reblogged/commented on a few generic anti-brony/pony things, so it’s likely that he wants the attention.

I’m asking the same thing and if he no longer want to talk about the show, why does he still anwser to anything MLP related? And why he doesn’t say something like “Don’t ask me anything MLP related”? That would be very explanatory if he don’t want to talk about it.

It’s okay to not like the show; it’s even okay to turn against a show so much that it retro-actively makes you hate parts you liked (I myself have had that happen re: South Park). Even so, that doesn’t give him the right to be assholes to his former fans, nor does it give him a from people criticizing his opinions and actions.
He brings it on himself, in no small part because he’s responsible for bringing a lot of folks into the fandom, so him turning against MLP feels like a real betrayal (I was already a fan before he posted his pro-Pony video, for the record).
I can understand CR’s hatred of the Royal Wedding, even if I can overlook the ep’s flaws due to the bits that were really good. I can really understand his hatred of The Twilicorn - even now I’m still not sold on her. However, I can’t agree with his calling all of Season 3 “shitty”; most of it was pretty good. Plus, his criticism of “Luna Eclipsed” is just wrong, reeking of the worst kind of Faust-faggotry.
And deleting his pony art from dA was the height of petty.
It’s no coincidence that, at the same time he turned against Pony and got jaded, his video output dwindled to nothing and his fans - some of whom didn’t even like Pony - turned on him. He deserves it. CR was on track to be one of the best reviewers on Channel Awesome but now… now he’s just a bitter, broken, pathetic shell of a man. Good riddance.
