S2E11 “Hearth’s Warming Eve”, at 11:43, Pinkie Pie describes “the earth is round”. Considering the Human Earth was not known to Equestria at the time (Equestria Girls) Pinkie Pie must only be referring to earth in the sense of the land in general.
This means that the Equestrians know the world they live on is round.
“Edge of Equestria” would just mean the edge of Equestria’s (it is a country) border.
I thought the fact that Equestria is a country and not the name of the world was a well-established fact. Hasbro even released an official map of Equestria, with arrows at the edge pointing to other countries like the Griffon Kingdom and dragon lands.
@Randomosaur
you realize you can go to the edge of canada or the united states or what ever nation that doesnt mean our world is flat it just means you went to the border the end of x country…
A pizza is both round and flat.
Edited
More like America being named Earth
That would be like the world being named “America”.
Also, as far as I know, there were no actual countries in Narnia.
You do realize that it can be the name of both, right? Narnia is both the name of a country and the world it’s from.

your current filter.It was even established in the episode Dragonshy that Equestria is just the name of the country.

Hell that was established in Dragonshy, and then confirmed multiple times throughout all four seasons.
Nah she just got blasted into orbit.
