Seiya is actually the least popular of the Bronze Saints interestingly.
To me though, just because he didn’t really kill any of the Gold Saints doesn’t mean that he’s a bad character. I’m 25 episodes in so far, and Seiya’s killed two Silver Saints, three Ghost Saints. Don’t forget Shiryu and Shun got their butts kicked too in their fights against the Goldies they fought.

Since everybody seems to dislike Flash Sentry, I nominate him for Seiya. I’ve always found him overrated (everybody else kicks more butt than he does - all Seiya’s done is cut off a horn, get his butt kicked by a brainwashed guy, get his butt kicked AGAIN by Buddha and then Saga killed himself. He didn’t technically defeat any of the Goldies. While Shiryu killed two, and even Shun offed one.).
Honestly, at most I would match Flash with Subaru (boring shoehorned-in characters whose producers desperately want me to believe are important). But that’s just my bias talking.
