But… your job also involves protecting other ponies.
But… your job is to protect the Princess, and/or other ponies, from where you are assigned, not gallivanting all over Equestria. And sending in two guys at a time seems like a very good way to lose two squates if it is in fact something dangerous.
So… stay alert and stay at post, would be my choice, I guess. Of course, that’s by far the less adventurous option.
