I’m confused as to what needs explaining here. Apart from Chad’s continuing interest in MLP, and Derpibooru’s continuing interest in Chad.
Given that the institution existed for a millennia, it wouldn’t surprise me if the origin of the Wonderbolts was considered by most to be semi-mythical as well, if someone really sees a need to explain this. Like how the Knights of the Round Table are considered to be myths today, despite knights been a thing that actually existed.
Pretty much this I’d have to say as far as reasoning.
And wasn’t her return supposed to be the old ponies tale, like some ponies knew of her and her origins but just didn’t think she’d ever come back? Isn’t that the point of Nightmare Night?
Nightmare Moon was never a myth. Nightmare Moon’s prophesied return was referred to as “just an old pony’s tale” a few times, but nopony has ever denied her existence.

Did you even read my comment? I was talking about the er. I don’t care about what CR says, and not in the “I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU SAY SO SHUT UP I HATE YOU!!!” sort of way, but in the “this is completely off my radar” way. It’s the bp trying to start drama that annoys me.
Or maybe the exam questionnaries with new Luna informations have been updated since Luna came back.You know since Rainbow exam take place after Luna face-turn.

Knowing which episode that came from, CR having a problem with Twilight being a ventriloquist sadly makes sense.
