Never mind then. In of the “bad games” part of your original comment, Maximum Carnage was pretty good. Even then, LJN eventually evolved into Acclaim entertainment, and we all know what THEY’RE responsible for… (The original Mortal Kombat trilogy.)
Well, the MK trilogy was all Midway. Acclaim only did the console ports, and while they were actually pretty good, Acclaim was left with nothing when Midway started doing the games on their own starting at… MK3, I believe it was?
Not that Acclaim was all bad, but aside from Turok and bringing some Sega stuff to the PS2 during their initial transition to 3rd party, there really wasn’t much of note from Acclaim.
So your not very big on Wrestling, and other Sport(s) titles then? IIRC they also released NBA Jam, and some Baseball games that were ok.

I wanted that My Little Pony game to be done by Namco, because it could be perfect if we’d call it “Tales of Equestria.” Sadly, it was an April Fool’s Day joke on YouTube.
Well, we did get Bravely Default, which TECHNICALLY isn’t a Final Fantasy game (it originally had the subtitle “Flying Fairy” in the Japanese version, the initials of that being an obvious reference to the series title, but this was removed from the American version’s title)…
Also, as it turns out, the North American and European release of that game is an “upgraded” version from the original Japanese release. Though oddly enough, Japan actually got this “upgraded” version BEFORE North America did…
I don’t see the need to keep peeing all over SE now. Wada, as you say, has been gone for a while now, and Square Enix seems to have realized that they can do well without going after the mythical “universal appeal” between the success of Bravely Default and the relative failure of Wada-era games. I think we’re going to see improvement from Square Enix in the coming years, personally.
…Those were six years ago. Wada isn’t even the president of Square Enix anymore (I believe he stepped down some time last year).
And yeah, sales are pretty important, and the sad fact of the matter is, the DS remake of Chrono Trigger didn’t sell very well. And the real sad thing is, I think they expected that to happen; they probably only made the DS version so that they could keep the trademark.

If anyone has that Game (or still cares), its worth pointing out. That this is One of those 1000’s of Games that shipped out with GameSpy. So whats the BIG DEAL?
The deal now is unless you deactivate your Internet, on your PS3. The Game will boot like normal to the GameSpy Logo…. Then crash straight back to the XMB! >:(
Deactivating the internet connection to the PS3 will by- whatever GameSpy check that’s causing this Game to crash. Allowing you to then play the Game again.
