Detailed syntax guide

I completely forgot about ear-protection, to be honest.
Seeing how much our instructors drilled the ‘ALWAYS wear your earplugs on the range’ even when we were just firing pistols out in the open, I imagine that this bad boy can do quite a number on your ears.

Personally, the heaviest thing I ever fired was the MG3.
We were trained in using the Panzerfaust 3, but we never actually fired it. Just the ‘this is how you hold it, this is how you reload it, this is how the sights work, this is what you are supposed to do when firing it.’ thing.

While recoil is significant concern, everyone seems to forget that the light fifties have muzzle brakes, and pretty effective ones at that.

Additionally, while the artist did fuck up, compare this to an M82A2:

Swap the position of the mag with the pistol grip and replace the bipod with a foregrip, and you’ve (almost) got an M82A2! The artist wasn’t that far off, actually.

Me, personally? I’d be more worried about his ears. Having fired one of these myself (woohoo e-peen), it’s a pretty direct tradeoff from recoil to noise.

Actually that tag is supposed for the guy firing it. Firing a rifle like that without a buttstock, we are probably looking at a nasty skull-fracture around the eye, some nasty bleeding, damage to the eye itself, a serious concussion… the list goes on.

love that “impending mutilation” tag. A .50 cal Barret sniper rifle will chop you up into pieces like sharp axe from a very long distance
@Vaughn Porter
Seeing how that thing has no buttstock, his eye will take the brunt of the impact. Last shot he ever took.
Get ready to get knocked on your tail from the recoil.
