I really hope that with the scale of the magic being used being upped dramatically with each villain, every time they defeat one they draw in someone/thing much more powerful because the effects are more widely felt.

I theorize that Equetrian magic on this world generates a “somebody else’s problem field” that some people are resistant to for whatever reason.
I hearing that there was gonna be a TV series spin-off for Equestria Girls. My guess right now, assuming that’s true, is that it’ll involve human-world Twilight going to the school to investigate the goings-on and meeting the girls. Perhaps with Sunset writing friendship reports to pony-world Twilight? Could be interesting.
