Because an inferior (probably smaller) version of the pic was ed 7 months ago, Mephistopheles (the most appropriately-named on the site) ed a better one 4 hours ago, and when the old one got merged into the new one, both the 7-month-old comments and the 4-hours-ago timestamp were kept.

Y’know, if you actually look at the artist’s tag, vote wise, this version of Sweetie Belle is pretty well received, as are most of the artist’s depictions. People don’t seem to like this particular picture though, as the original is in the negatives as well, which means it’s probably not on the merits of “Oh noes, a Muslims!”, but rather “I just don’t like this particular picture.”
Maybe it’s due to her telling yelling at everyone to shut the hell up. Which, by the way, we are all doing a very poor job of.

As noted below, after looking a bit around, I have a better picture now.
This is the first I’ve heard about Muslimshy, so it was mostly the “er affecting rate of drawing” thing, which struck me as rather unfair to the artist.
after going trough the hijb tag i realized i find that thing realy fucking stupid…
both the irl concept and the aplication to ponies, the later one can be blamed on tastes i guess.
plus it feels some people are doing it just to ‘fight’ the “misiogionistic anonymous” which is just a bunch of edgelords out for the lols

Mostly Meph has only ed the worst crap he can usually find. Doesn’t help that stuff like Muslimshy is a damn stereotype in itself. Which quite a few people ignore in the name of DIVERSITY.
