I have a Bachelor’s Degree on Library and Information Science, but in Europe in general and Spain in particular it’s damn hard to apply due to string-pulling and nepotism. That results in many unprepared librarians (hell, one of my classmates in College was one of the librarians from my Neighborhood’s - and City Central’s - library: I knew her since I was about 10 or 12 years old!). Only thosw who apply to be directors are required to have the Degree.

you’d need a Master’s degree in Science to even apply.
