Same. My best friend came up with an idea for what to do:
 
The tower you climb in his boss fight manifests, and you have to battle your way up the tower using reaction commands and dodging attacks until you get to a cloud layer, where Kefka awaits. Then you fight him up there until suddenly the clouds are no longer solid and you have to make your way up the monster tower again.

Fair enough, as I say back in the day I did having some trouble with Xaldin.
 
As far as Marluxia goes, I would say I probably had a harder time beating him than I did Sephiroth honestly, though Seph was hardly a pushover.
 
Now if you REALLY want to rage, try Lingering Will, hoo boy lol

Xaldin is my least favourite Organization member, but, ironically, he’s my best in KHDay’s Mission Mode.

I did everything you’re supposed to but I still hate fighting him, in my opinion he’s even worse then Demyx. Also I have not played the 2.5 Remix so I can’t make any argument that’s part of that.

Marluxia in 2.5 Remix for me was the toughest Organization XIII member, had to be, I do vaguely having a little trouble with Xaldin as a kid, but playing the game again I aced him, he’s not too bad if you just use the commands.

I don’t like Dash as my favorite Organization member. Sure, they both control the wind, but while RD is more boisterous and headstrong, Xaldin is more of a calculating and cunning individual.
