Well, if you’ve never read Pink Eyes, that lessens the impact a lot. However, in the story, “Mr. Voice” is a limited AI that operates Puppysmiles’ suit functions. He has no real personality, as he is just a simple computer program. Puppy, being a willful little ghost of a filly, refuses to accept his constant claims of not being a real pony, and instead names him and talks to him non-stop. He just keeps reminding her in his monotone, programmed demeanor that her actions don’t make sense, but at no point does Puppy ever listen to his “silly talk”. She manages to bring him as close to experiencing weariness as a robot has ever been.
Getting to finally see a face put to this character was a cool experience.
