I just mean that giving David the Star of David as a CM before he had proven himself by beating Goliath… actually, you know what? I give up. You can dive back into Hebrew history. I’m going to bed.
David was a Jew. Mentions of both David and Goliath both can be both found in Jewish Talmudic sources. One thing to is that the Old Testament is pretty much a direct descendant of the Jewish writings, if perhaps edited when the Bible was compiled at Nicea.
And according to the Talmud too, Goliath is a distant cousin of David, apparently (a fun-fact I learned double-checking). He’s the son of the daughter of the sister in-law of David’s grandmother.

i’m an atheist brony… yet i approve of this not as a religious piece but a true underdog story. The little guy against a Giant who things he can have it all but with hard work (and a little help from a flying spaghetti monster) one can over come great odds.
