also, all she seems to be doing in this gif is laugh at a joke. that ain’t exactly trolling in any way what so ever. if it is, then by the same logic, simply laughing at jokes would make ME a troll. last I checked, “trolling” meant harmful “joking”, being a dick, bullying, being thoughtless etc. Celestia, out of all the moments that people have (blindly) accused her of, has done none (I repeat: none) of those things, just gentle pranks, jokes & humour.

Celestia is sort of a troll, if you re watch season 1 and 2 you will understand. Shes a trickster because being a princess is dreadfully boring and she likes the tricks from time to time to liven it up. Which is why she likes the mane 6 so much for being whacky.

I’m pretty sure most people (especially the showrunners) mean it as tongue-in-cheek (humorously or not seriously intended). In any case, there’s really no sense in getting upset about it, because people are going to do the things they do whether you like it or not.
