If the maker doesn’t want to connect her to Masquerade s/he doesn’t have to, but saying “I don’t see the resemblance” when the colors are like a 99.9% match is just crazy. It’d make more sense to say “yeah, that’s an amazing coincidence, but…”
And yes, 99.9% match. We’re seeing Masquerade in the dark. In the light like Milky is, she looks even more like her. This from “The Best Night Ever” (which means yes, everyone just noticing Masquerade is late to the party; we also saw her in “Sweet and Elite” with the Eleventh Doctor.)
Well they share coat and eye colors, and eye shapes. They may not be the same pony but if you “don’t see the resemblance” maybe you should check an ophthalmologist.
Two differences I noticed: Milky Way’s mane and tail two-toned, and she has freckles. The pony at the Gala had a one-toned mane and tail and no freckles on her face.
