It all depends on the band and how hard you look for ‘em, yo. I got into punk rock through ska, which I got into through reggae (thanks to my English teacher back in high school, so I’ve heard a good amount.
Browse any punk forum long enough and all roads will eventually lead back to reggae at some point.
No offense, I actually like reggae too, even as a metalhead, but is there anything awesome ever coming out of it since Bob Marley? Most reggae acts I hear sound the same… I want something that stands out of the crowd sometimes, you know.
