I don’t know, the fact, Celestia stood up to Chrysalis a queen of 1,000s of freaky bug creatures was kinda badass in itself, especially the way she called out Chrysalis’s evil gloating/monologuing.
Also, if cheese-legs didn’t have that power-boost from Cadance’s fiance’, Celestia would’ve beaten her easily.
I don’t know why people always forget that factor, when saying the scene shows Celestia is “weak.” (It was basically showing instead just how powerful Shining Armor’s love for Cadance was, as it allowed Chrysalis to become temporarily more powerful then Celestia. Besides, if Celestia did beat her in “Dead Man’s volley” it’d be a shorter episode.)
Also, to be fair, she didn’t have her powers, so she couldn’t face Tirek. Instead, she tried to outsmart him. You have to give Celestia credit with all the “Batman gambits” she makes.

I think it’s been a long enough amount of time that we can safely return to this type of humour without it having to be a ripoff of .mov
Which only occasionally had a good joke in it. Very little chance to enjoy it when the characters aren’t even themselves anymore. A mistake that FiV avoided. Also has a much more appealing style as this image shows.

I still question why there is no Celestia episode yet. Cheerilee has had more episodes then her now.

She is very capable at getting beaten up by Chrysalis, Japanese tentacles, Tirek, et cetera. >:D
