indeed… but has Peridot even acknowledged knowing of Rose? I know Steven mentioned it to Peridot, but it was more erring to Peridot that Steven was a hybrid and not Rose herself

there’s enough room for the creative team to reveal she wasn’t rose’s to begin with (either she lost her original owner or she left her original owner for rose).
