At least they didn’t edit out the scene where Marty confronts Biff like the Disney Channel did. Not only was there no reason to remove the scene (the women in the hot tub are never in a position where anything is seen) but they got rid of some foreshadowing.

Sometimes the censor is way worse than the original line || I a movie, CASINO I think, in which the line “Die Motherfucking Jew! is changed to “Die Moneyloving Jew!” ||
Of course, knowing Discovery Family, they’re probably going to horribly butcher BTTF in a clumsy attempt to censor swear words and other things. They’ve done it before.
“I’ve had it with these monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!”

All movies should do that.
I hearing that with Ghostbusters, they actually filmed alternate takes of certain scenes specifically for the TV version.
Yeah it’s always better if they just make it go silent opposed to editing the dialogue. Case and point

I don’t have Discovery Family, do they not just cut the sound off when someone swears?
@Jarkes
Back to the Future has already played on this channel before recently, and I can confirm the censorship of the racial epithets and swears.
