In multiple anime, characters will change their clothes with one hand in one motion, often accompanied by a frame change. Sometimes they’re wearing a necklace or earrings or a circlet or band. Imagine if Batman was in an anime. Bruce goes into an alley, flings his suit into the air, the camera pans down, and he’s wearing all his fucking bat shit one damn second later. XD
Oh, that reminds me: Spider-Man had a live-action Sentai show about a fucking year or two before Super Sentai, the predecessor to Power Rangers. >:3
I watched the scene where Fluttershy takes off her ears. In one motion she takes the ears off with one hoof and then her fangs are just gone. Sure it could be lazy animation, but it might not be.
@Trahzo
Headcanon accepted :o
That would actually make a lot of sense. Plenty of cosplayers have social anxiety in day-to-day life, but are perfectly comfortable, even confident, when in costume. I really wouldn’t put that past Fluttershy.
Wait, I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!!! Okay, so you know how Fluttershy tried scaring them with anime characters? Well, along with the lense theory, what if Fluttershy is a cosplayer?
well so far I don’t recall any evidence that s exist in the show. Glasses however, are fairly common. Even if they were s, the question remains as to where she got them, and why she didn’t remove them with the rest of the costume.
@Joshua
Well, they already had it come back several times, (Once in the “Do Princesses dream” episode, and again in the IDW comic) so some already think it’s getting overdone. Though, they probably won’t even have an opportunity to do it anymore.
They’re lying on the ground in front of her in a later shot.
Retracted. The word is retracted. :j
…Or she was covering her mouth while fangs un-grew themselves. Also common in multiple anime :P.

Not only that, but Fluttershy actually took a fancy to it, and was disappointed when dismissed.
@MisterC
Yep, Fluttershy wore magenta s when she was coppying Dash in Magic Duel
They have glasses, arcade machines, skyscrapers, and such. I don’t see why they couldn’t have -lenses.
Considering EqG Twi’ has glasses, that makes me wonder if pony Twi’ wears s instead possibly.

They won’t.
Memes and references? No?… <3<
Yeah, they’re farely common actually.
And a nice callback to “Flutterbat,” though I hope they don’t overdo it.
On that note, oddly coincidental she would have that, especially in Shy’s color.
