I’m an American. And as such, I’m just happy to see a country shuffle off the shackles of tyranny. Tbh, if Scotland or Ireland follows through with their own referendum to secede from Britain, like they’ve been threatening, I would be behind them. Of course, then they’ll just use their freedom to shackle themselves to another slave master, but it’ll be their choice, as misguided as it may be.
And are you really implying that both sides haven’t been lying through their teeth before, during, and after the vote? Seriously? What about the remainers who said a leave vote would mean war with the EU? Whatever either side said, leave most likely means there will be less immigration than remain. It’s just common sense. Especially if Turkey becomes an EU state.
