Footplay doesn’t do anything for me, but for some reason Luna hacking up a fireball is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while :)

This actually makes more sense. I mean she had a wound deep enough to create a massive scar across her eye.
A cut doesn’t have to be deep in order to scar. It just needs to have been made at the right angle (the blade cutting into the skin) in order to cause the skin to not knit back together properly. Even very shallow cuts can create scars.
Also, if it was a deep cut across her eye, it wouldn’t have been blinded. The eyeball would have been destroyed entirely.
For one, choose to rape whichever one of them loves Twilight back. While he’s trying to deal with the Logic bomb of how one is supposed to ‘rape’ a consenting partner, find him with a search spell, then teleport to him and splatter him all over the nearest wall.
