the thing about Gryphus is that these were not “Free imperial towns” or whatever. Gryphus has been subjugated during Grover II reign, who then established Order of Opinicus there. then his son Grover III gave monopoly to SCC so Gryphus should be either split between holdings of Opinicus Order and be balkanised to hell and back, or make a single istrative entity or some shit
besides im led to believe the name “Free Towns of Gryphus” emerged after 978 ALB after they declared independence, so either way i still dont see the map making sense in that regard
