They’re not equivalent to FiM’s manes. My understanding is Salix is like Pony Life Fluttershy mixed with Pony Life Derek, Amanita is like Izzy Moonbow, Apricity is like Sunny Starscout, Serein is like Hitch Trailblazer, and Luminance is like Rarity mixed with Pinkie.

This is the version where they came out alive.

It’s a huge improvement on the eyes, ears and mane. I think the snout isn’t an improvement, actually, due to being too thin and pointy. Also, the mane improvement immediately draws attention to the tail, which I think now is the biggest area of issue due to being very long and thin with only one coiling as well as being a bit too far pointing up at the base area (I know the show does this sometimes, but , tails are to protect the butt, Rarity would only have it hiked up like that if she was excited/aroused).
