I’d imagine part of it is Twilight is a bit too much of a nice/naive person to be confronted by that kind of thing and be able to shrug it off as “You got hurt from us stopping something you started? And then didn’t tell anyone of the extent of that damage? Well, them’s the breaks”.

This is horrifying in interesting and new ways.

It really depends on the wound. Even a small cut on the forehead can bleed like nothing else.
