I certainly agree. The Dazzlings were excellent at awakening everyone’s competitiveness and/or hidden resentment, exploiting the conflicts to achieve their goals. Wallflower Blush systematically severed Sunset Shimmer’s ties with her friends and allies, before using her powers on Sunset’s own mind.Villains with decent plans and skills.

The rest of the so-called villains in Equestria Girls were mostly typical “mean girls” throwing tantrums. And I don’t really view the Shadowbolts as villains to begin with. Minimal interactions with their supposed foes, and mostly playing by the rules throughout the Games. They were never an actual threat.
