I’m a woman who grew up with G3 and G4 both. when did I imply that pink, tea parties, dress-up, and brushing hair are ‘low quality’ things? G4 has all of that too. Lauren never hated G3 nor G1. Yes, it’s true that girls are capable of liking more. Yes, this also means girly things don’t deserve to be looked down upon. Faust intended FiM to be girly and adventurous at the same time (hey g1), proving that tea parties, pink, etc. aren’t just “silly things” to be looked down upon. You and the OP both have clearly never watched any of the other generations and it shows. Wysteria’s whole thing is that she doesn’t even want to be a girly princess. But, whatever. I’m not gonna start arguing against a purist who blindly hates everything I love including fim.
